Welcome to Fort Collins Eyeopeners Kiwanis!

Eyeopeners Installs Its First Little Free Library

On Saturday, December 7th, Michael Baker, Bob Garretson, and Bob Hansen installed the club’s first Little Free Library at the Morningside Village clubhouse, 4926 Northern Lights Drive. The neighborhood serves over 200 children. The HOA was so excited about this project that they decorated it for the holidays.

The Little Free Library was part of a service project at the Kiwanis International Convention in Denver this summer. Clubs from around the world purchased and assembled almost 20 houses at convention to be distributed in the Rocky Mountain District.

This project supports the Education & Literacy cause by providing reading material for children pre-school through adulthood.
